How does a guy go from managing multi-location full service restaurants to managing your wealth and retirement? Believe it or not, the path is a pretty straight line.
I have always had a passion for food and the joy it brings when people gather around it. Whether it’s a Thanksgiving dinner with my wife Jenny, our two boys Joshua and Braden and the rest of our family, or hundreds of diners in the restaurant at one time, providing great tasting food and Texas hospitality has always been very rewarding to me.
In 1994, I turned my passion for serving others in a new direction. I entered the world of finance in order to educate others about the myriad of financial issues and help people empower themselves to make more informed decisions.
Just as my prior career required certain standards and licenses, the financial industry is no different. I currently hold securities registrations including the Series 7, 24 and 63, as well as Life and Health insurance licenses. But just like a brisket that’s not quite finished, I wanted to provide even greater service to my clients so I committed to a higher fiduciary standard of excellence and earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional.
Jenny and I have worked together for years in this industry. But now that Joshua, our oldest, attends the New York Film Academy in Burbank, California and Braden, our youngest, is currently a freshman in college, we have teamed up to provide an even higher level of service that Wallace Wealth Management clients enjoy and expect from us.
Of course I have interests such as snow skiing or playing golf, but food and service are still the theme to my life. I serve on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s World Championship BBQ Cook Off Chuckwagon Committee where all the volunteers annually work hard to help provide scholarships for high school kids.
So, here at Wallace Wealth Management, Jenny & I are committed to your financial concerns. Once you start working with us, you’ll feel like family around a good ole Texas BBQ.
